A TEAM member, Rick Wilson, shares his comment on The Concept Paper.
Thank you for this opportunity to comment, and thank you for all the work DHS has done to improve Family Care and to expand it to the remaining counties, such as Rock, where I reside. I am a member of the A Team of Wisconsin, the grassroots organization of family members and individual receiving services at Community Rehabilitation Programs. I am very pleased that the concept paper keeps in place existing services, and note that Adult Day, Prevocational and Supported Employment services are all listed in the addendum of benefits. The A Team strongly believes that the CMS HCBS ruling allows the state great flexibility in allowing these services to continue, so long as their rules are followed. I believe you agree, and for that we are most appreciative.
